Apartments, taxis, the big dinner where one card covered the table. Log it once, name the payer, and the trip remembers it, with the date it happened and every later edit kept in the history.

Travade nets every expense and every split into one number per traveller. Paid more than your share? You're owed. Paid less? You owe. That's the whole model, and it is recalculated the moment anything changes.
Five people owing five people is a mess. Travade collapses it into a short list of who pays who and how much, so settling up is a couple of transfers, not an evening of negotiation.
Mark the trip completed and the ledger stays exactly as it was: every expense, every edit, every settlement. Export the whole thing to CSV whenever you want it somewhere else.
Set a personal budget for the trip. Travade tracks your share of every shared cost alongside the things you paid for on your own, and shows you where it all went, privately. No other traveller sees it.

Cooking for the group is the cheapest night of any trip. Give it the dietary restrictions and what kind of meal you want, and it comes back with budget-friendly recipes scaled to how many people are actually eating.
Prompts are built from shared trip details only. Your personal budget, your private expenses, and everybody’s email addresses are never sent to the model, and every response is validated before it is saved or shown.
A trip ledger is a list of who you travel with and what you can afford. Travade treats it that way.
A trip is visible only to its members. That is enforced twice: in the API route and again by row-level security in the database itself, so there is no path to someone else's ledger.
Bring people in with a link that works once and dies after seven days. Every token is validated server-side before it grants membership to anything.
Download expenses and settlements as CSV whenever you like. Nothing about Travade is designed to make leaving difficult.
Close your account yourself, from Settings, with your password. Private data is removed and the shared ledger's arithmetic survives only in anonymized form.
